Raj has a strong interest in surgical dentistry and oral implantology with 10 years of hospital experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery. His advanced expertise in surgical-based dentistry ranges from facial trauma to surgical removal of wisdom teeth.
Highly skilled in implant surgery and bone grafting, Raj achieves satisfaction from patients undergoing these procedures year on year.
To date, Raj has placed over 2000 implants and carried out over 7500 surgical extractions in his career.

- All aspects of Implant surgery, from simple cases as defined by the SAC to complex dental implant procedures such as full mouth rehabilitation.
- All aspects of bone grafting including block grafts, GBR and sinus lifts.
- All aspects of oral surgery including teeth removal such as impacted canines, 3rd molars, peri radicular surgery and biopsies.
- All aspects of soft tissue grafting around teeth and implants when required.
Since qualifying from the University of Liverpool in 2002, Raj has since held a strong interest in surgical dentistry and oral implantology and has 10 years of hospital experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Committed to achieving professional excellence, Raj has completed post graduate education in the UK and Ireland and advanced training at the University of Bern in Switzerland, in addition to a Masters in Medical Law and Ethics. He is interested in learning from global experiences of surgical and implant dentistry, so makes numerous visits to dental institutions around the world, including Germany, Switzerland and the United States of America.
Outside of placing implants and his studies, Raj is also involved in mentoring new dentists in placing dental implants and teaching dentists about implant and surgical based dentistry. He is an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Bristol and is an ITI Fellow, Communications Officer for the ITI UK and Ireland section. (International Team for Implantology). He also runs the ITI study club in Croydon which helps promote post graduate education for local and national dentists.
