Emergency Dental

In case of an emergency during practice hours, please contact the practice immediately on 01483 281428. We will always endeavour to see a patient in pain on the same day.

If you require emergency treatment outside surgery hours, please telephone the practice on 01483 281428 where you will hear a message detailing the specific arrangements for that day.

Mortiboys dental spa in Surrey offers a full emergency service for all of its regular patients. If you are a patient of the practice please call us to arrange your emergency appointment.

If you are in pain or you have an obvious dental emergency and you are unable to get the practice we recommend that you go to your local accident and emergency part department at the hospital.

Mortiboys dental spa are happy to welcome local patients from East Horsley, Effingham and surrounding Surrey areas.

What to do in a dental emergency

if your tooth is simply chipped this would not normally be considered a dental emergency if this happens please put the chip portion in a safe place and contact your dentist at a convenient time.

If however the chip has taken a large portion of the tooth off and either the tooth itself is bleeding or the gums around or bleeding then emergency dental treatment is probably required. Please either call us or take a visit to the hospital.

If your tooth has come out completely we recommend placing the truth in a sterile environment, either inside the patient’s cheek or in a container full of milk.

An avulsed truth ( one that has come out) can also be placed back into the socket, if you do this ensure the truth is the correct way round and always remember to handle the tooth by the Crown I. E. Not by the root
